Fun Skills Learning
Kolonie Camp Fun - wakacje dla dzieci w wieku 7–14 lat
We are passionate people who like working with children and discovering new talents in them.
At our camp, we want to focus on three pillars: sports, artistic activities and handicrafts. We want to spend a lot of time outdoors, exploring nature and making friends.
What makes us stand out?
Our primary goal is for children to feel safe with us at the camp and, at the same time, for the trip to be the first step in learning independence. That is why we have created a unique program based on a week-long trip. This length of the stay gives a chance that the child will not be discouraged by too long a period of separation from the family during the first trip and will become eager for more frequent adventures.
The rules at the camp are primarily small groups with one supervisor per group. Our caregivers have experience not only in working with children in Poland, but also in the USA. Daytime classes are conducted in English by our native speakers from Great Britain and Ireland. Our main task is to encourage action by praising, not judging.
We plan bonfires, evening singing of songs with the sound of a guitar and watching the stars.

Paweł Dzierżak
Director of Camp Fun
Paweł worked at a camp in the USA for 10 years, which is where he drew inspiration for what Camp Fun should look like. In his professional life, he has been running a company organizing student trips to the United States for 15 years. Passionate about traveling, spending time actively, fishing and the history of Poland. Privately, he is the father of two energetic boys, Bruno and Leon. The camp was created with them in mind.
Dorota Kapica-Łyjak
Manager
She has been a teacher of humanities in primary schools for over a dozen years. I have worked many times as a guardian and manager at events organized for children and teenagers in Lublin. When I was a student, I had the opportunity to work in the USA at an American camp. Camp Fun is a unique initiative that combines relaxation with fun and learning English in a friendly and safe environment for children. In my daily work with children, what I value most is the trust and agency of other people, which always works both ways. Privately, I love traveling, non-fiction and painting by Marc Schagall. I am also the mother of Kalina and Janek.
Paulina Giżycka-Dzierżak
Program director
Paulina had been planning a camp in Poland for many years, and at that time she was working at a camp in the USA, which made it easy to draw inspiration from the local education system. When the time came for her sons to go to summer camp, she decided that no one would organize their holidays better than herself. This is how Camp Fun was created, a camp where sports and artistic activities are conducted by English-speaking people. Learning independence, having fun outdoors and English naturally acquired by children are the pillars of the camp. Privately, she is a mother of two sons, passionate about creating ceramic dishes and healthy eating.

Co nas wyróżnia oraz dlaczego warto, aby twoje dziecko wyjechało z nami na wakacje.
Based on our experience working in Poland and the USA, we deeply believe that taking part in a holiday trip is not only about time spent away from family. Above all, it is an opportunity to develop independence, learn about your interests and relax away from electronics, monitors and computer games.
We focus on free learning through play in a natural environment, mainly outdoors. We also hope to encourage your child to learn English by giving him or her the opportunity to interact with native speakers. We will show that learning, especially a foreign language, does not have to be boring and impractical.
